One of the best action comedies that I have seen. The film never goes big on action set pieces, but it’s ability to regenerate action sequences is amazing. The same people meet each other over and over to create endless comedic return [in that sense it might feel longer than it actually is – but that was a good thing for me since I was enjoying it]. The chemistry between Niro and Grodin was the height of entertainment and the duo stay together almost for the entire film. So you can imagine how charming it was. The film was an adventure too.
There was not a signle boring or wasted moment Midnight Run. A critical and commercial success, it was a delight to watch from start to the end.
